Orca is Climeworks' flagship Direct Air Capture and storage plant in Iceland, capturing CO₂ directly from ambient air using renewable geothermal energy and permanently mineralising it underground in partnership with Carbfix. Orca is the world's first DAC facility to receive third-party certification and tradable CORCs under the Puro Standard.

Industrial carbon removal projects (DAC, biochar, cookstoves) don't benefit from satellite vegetation monitoring — there's no canopy to measure. ClimSen verifies these projects through registry serial issuance cadence cross-referenced against the operator's audited facility output. Land-use projects on this marketplace are additionally monitored via Sentinel-2 NDVI.
